Boarding

If you are a trail rider, you might want to board your horse here...

jimOur group is a very friendly down to earth, non-competitive group of trail riders who love animals, love to be outdoors and are passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. If you consider yourself like-minded you will fit right in!

Since 1937, Marin Stables has been a popular place for people to board and ride their horses, and to take riding lessons. Through the Ethel Moore Trail and Canyon Trail, we also provide public access to 90 miles of trails on MMWD lands and 22,000 acres of natural open space that include Mount Tamalpais, Phoenix Lake, Lake Lagunitas, Bon Tempe Lake, Alpine Lake, and Kent Lake.

The Stable is permitted to house up to 40 horses. Marin Stables is a public facility, not a private riding stable. Riding lessons and training will be available if arranged in advanced.
